(250328) -- BANGKOK, March 28, 2025 (Xinhua) -- People flee to the street after an earthquake in Bangkok, Thailand, March 28, 2025.

A 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar at 2:20 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

Following the earthquake, Xinhua reporters in Thailand reported that strong tremors were felt in the area as well. (Xinhua/Rachen Sageamsak)
