NEW YORK -- Global COVID-19 deaths surpassed 750,000 on Thursday, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
With the total COVID-19 cases around the world reaching 20,651,113, the death toll worldwide rose to 750,030 as of 8:27 a.m. (1227 GMT), the CSSE data showed. (Global-COVID-19-Deaths)

WASHINGTON -- The United States has issued a modification to the list of European products subject to additional duties in a long-time dispute over aircraft subsidies, with changes to take effect on Sept. 1.
After World Trade Organization ruling on aircraft subsidies last year, the United States levied additional tariffs on a wide range of European Union goods, which took effect on Oct. 18, a move that has fueled trade tensions between the two sides. (US-EU-Aircraft Subsidy)
